1. Representative Yoon Sang-hyun of the Saenuri Party, who serves as Special Advisor to the President for Political Affairs and member of the National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee, will attend in his capacity as special envoy of the President the commemorative event for the 70th anniversary of Russia’s victory in World War II set to take place in Moscow, Russia, on May 9.
 
2. With the year 2015 marking the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations and the “mutual visit year” between the Republic of Korea and Russia, the dispatch of the special envoy is expected to contribute to the promotion of bilateral ties.
